Barkham
Our first project undertaken with Bewley Homes, which was contracted in early 2021. This greenfield, edge of settlement site is capable of delivering up to 60 new homes. Plans are underway to progress planning permission on the 12-acre site, which will make a valuable contribution towards the housing delivery shortfall in Wokingham.
Sunbury
CSunbury Golf Club was secured on behalf of Danescroft Land in September 2021. This complicated transaction began as an unconditional purchase and transitioned to a corporate acquisition. The 52-acre site is being promoted though the Spelthorne local plan process and could potentially deliver up to 500 new homes.
Charlton Village
This site is a great example of ‘poor quality’ greenbelt, which presents excellent opportunities for placemaking. The 25 acres incorporates a fishing lake, which offers a natural buffer between the core area proposed for development and the adjacent M3 motorway. Bewley Homes took an Option on a long-term basis in the summer of 2022 and representations have been made to Spelthorne BC for the development of up to 150 homes.
Iver
Contracted by Bewley Homes in early 2023, St James Farm is a sustainable, 12-acre greenbelt site that could accommodate the development of circa 100 new homes. South Bucks, as an old district within the new unitary Buckinghamshire authority has a dire housing land supply position. We are therefore very hopeful that a change in central government will kick start a thorough greenbelt review, allowing sites such as this to come forward promptly for new housing.
Bampton
It is great to support Bewley Homes with their plans to expand their operational reach into Oxfordshire and beyond, with this site being secured under option in the summer of 2023. Bampton is a picturesque market town and Bewley’s plans for a new development of 60 homes will be a natural extension to this corner of the settlement. There are also great opportunities for new green infrastructure provisions across the 23 acres.
Ampfield
This is the first project that Belfield Homes have taken on directly under a promotion agreement structure. We were delighted to contract with our landowner partners in 2023. We have submitted proposals through the Test Valley local plan review for 40 new homes over 9 acres and a potential 40-acre SANG opportunity to the rear of the main site.
Wokingham
Working with Bewley Homes we were really pleased to see outline planning permission granted for a 64-bed care homes in February this year. More news on this project to follow!
